BEOW'S IS LOCATED IN THE BRENNANSTREET STATION AREA IN NORTH RALEIGH OFF OF CREED MORE ROAD BESIDE TRADER JOES .   THIS IS A RESTAURANT, CAFE, AND BAR .  CHECK OUT THE WINE.    GOOD CAUSUAL ATMOSPHERE.  GOOD FOOD. 

Tony  Thompson Trio with Chip Newton and Andy Trexler play at TheMixx Saturday August 23rd from 7 til  9 PM.  TheMixx is located at 5800 Duraleigh Road in Raleigh , NC.   Music from each of the 3 vinyl records produced over the past year bokkended by the summer  of 23 and 25 will be availalbe for sale at the gig.  Records are $30.   The most recent record is entitled  ‘A Daughter of the Azores’ featuring 9 original piano solo compostions.  It  just arrived.   TheMixx is a contemporary take on bar culture.  It is an upscale bar with a fairly full drink menu selection, beer on tap and wine.  The music will be under the stars unless it rains., in which case it will be inside.  Please come out and enjoy this cool place and the straight ahead jazz music.
